MUARA, Friday, 22 November 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Donation Ceremony for RBN officers and personnel who have recently lost their close relatives. The ceremony was held at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
Present as the guest of honour at the ceremony was the Commander of RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily. Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and personnel.
The ceremony commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Imran verse 174 - 180, Surah Yaasin, Tahlil and Doa led by Bilal Abdullah bin Mahri, Bilal of Surau Al-Huda. This was followed by the presentation of donations by the guest of honour to one officer and four personnel of RBN in the form of cash from the RBN Welfare Fund.
